The Manor House offers a truly exceptional activity holiday in a homely and friendly environment. The maximum number of children accommodated for Summer Camp weeks is 25, so you can guarantee personal attention for your child at all times from our mature, but fun loving and highly qualified team.

Every time Steve and Lesley accept a booking from any client, they are giving their word that they will do their utmost to ensure that the child enjoys the very best summer holiday of their life and returns home to you healthy, happy and better for the experience.
Each day is action packed from morning until night.
We provide a wide variety of quality outdoor activities over the week which includes water sports like surfing, body boarding and kayaking and land based activities like sea cliff climbing, orienteering, off road cycling and guided walks.
There may also be opportunity during the holiday to visit an Adventure Park, Blue Reef Aquarium, Land’s End and Eden Project, depending upon the course content and availability. Any additional visits are also included in the cost of the holiday.
There is also a full evening program of activities which includes beach games, crab fishing, toasting marshmallows, and problem solving games.
We also have some quiet times, enabling the children to write postcards home or to relax, rest and recuperate for the next exciting adventure!
Our Manor House is a true home from home!
The children are accommodated within the wonderful 18th century Manor House in homely dormitories and they have full use of the comfortable lounge area and dining rooms. The Garden offers a quiet area and a sports field offers opportunity for team games and a variety of ball games. The Manor House Team are accommodated on site along with Steve and Lesley’s Family and the team provide pastoral care for the children throughout their stay. Lesley acts as House Mother to the children, having children of her own and a qualified nurse, she offers great support to the children from the moment they arrive. Full board accommodation is provided, with healthy snacks and drinks available throughout the day. All meals are home cooked and prepared on the premises from locally sourced ingredients, with all special diets catered for. Meals are taken as a family together in the main dining room with picnic lunches being eaten in a variety of fabulous locations.
We visit some of the best outdoor activity venues in the whole of Cornwall!
Activities take place in a variety of fantastic local areas, enabling your child to see something of the wonderful Cornish countryside. We visit the world renowned St Ives, Padstow and Falmouth during the trip.
Groups are transported in our own fleet of minibuses, driven by qualified minibus drivers and accompanied by additional instructors. All of our team have been screened via Criminal Records Bureau to ensure their fitness for working with children and are fully qualified to provide the activities that they provide.
Children grow and develop in just one week at the Manor House
A week at our summer camp gives the children an opportunity to have a colossal amount of fun, learn new skills and make great friends. This is not just a 'holiday' – parents are often astonished to see how much their child has grown in confidence, ability and independence by the time they return home!

Our Prices are competitive and inclusive
Our price is inclusive and at only £400 per child (inc VAT) they are a bargain! There are no hidden extras; everything apart from travel to and from the Centre is provided. Your child may appreciate some pocket money to spend on little gifts or ice creams during the week, but everything else is covered.
A booking deposit of £100 per child is payable to reserve a place with the balance payable by 1st June. Our holiday courses run from Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning. Saturday night stay and activities for those wishing to stay for two or more weeks charged at only £50 per child (inc VAT).
As part of our commitment to high quality personal service we offer a Rail Escort from London Paddington to Bodmin Parkway station. One or more of our qualified instructors will be available to escort children from London to Cornwall and return at the beginning and end of each week. We will book the ticket for you in advance which becomes payable with the final balance. A Manor House Cap will be provided for each of our escorted children Free of Charge!
Additional items may also be purchased in advance of your child’s stay -these include exclusive Manor House t-shirts and hoodys; these items are listed on the Merchandise Page. Please add any items you wish to purchase to your booking form, which will become payable with the balance.
Discounts are available too!
Multiple Stay - Children may stay for more than one week and receive a 10% discount for the second week. Accommodation is provided at The Manor House on Saturday night for just £50.
Bring a Buddy - If your child brings a friend who hasn’t stayed at our Summer Camps before you can claim a further 10% discount; you can use this discount scheme up to 3 times each holiday!

And now for the small print!
Safety underpins everything we do; it is part of who we are! We are licensed by AALA The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority, which is a government sponsored scheme to ensure that whoever provides certain activities to young people under the age of 18 years, will have their safety management systems inspected prior to being issued with a licence. The Manor House Licence number is L6388 (R0277).
The Manor House is also a British Canoe Union Approved Centre and who also follows the guidelines laid down by the national governing body for each activity.
Our Company safety system includes the following:
The management team do a lock up each night to ensure all areas are safe and can not be accessed from outside
We risk-assess every activity that takes place both formally in advance (written) and dynamically before and during each activity
All our staff under go full induction training before the season starts each year
All our staff under go suitability checks. We use the Criminal Records Bureau to carry these out and also take references
All of our team are highly qualified in first aid and Lesley (an ex-registered nurse) looks after ill children, medicine administration, hygiene and cleanliness
Please feel free to call and chat about any specific safety issues before or during the holiday
Insurance – The Manor House has full public liability insurance and is covered by IPP ltd regarding the EC Directive on Package Holidays. Cancellation insurance should be taken out for each child attending as refunds can not be given if your child is unable to attend.
Fitness - The activities offered at the Centre may be strenuous at times, but are within the capabilities of children of average health. However, participants should ensure that they are in a satisfactory state of health before embarking on a course. Parents are requested to provide any relevant medical and dietary information before the child’s stay by completion of a medical & consent form.
The Program of Activities – every effort will be made to complete course programmes, but all courses and activities are subject to the weather and other unavoidable conditions. The Centre reserves the right to alter and cancel programmes when necessary.
