Exciting activity holidays have been organised at The Manor House since 1988 and offer exhilarating and stimulating experiences for children and adults alike.
A choice of activities are offered and selected in advance for the whole family to enjoy together or for some of the family to try independently. As family holidays are for small numbers we endeavour to tailor activities to meet the specific needs and abilities of the families involved.
Large family rooms provide comfortable accommodation, keeping the family groups together. A large luxurious lounge provides a relaxing meeting area where families can intermingle and socialise after a fun filled and active day! Meals are taken in family groups in either of the dining rooms.
These activity holidays include full board accommodation and all activity instruction and equipment provision as detailed. Additional visits to places of interest (like Eden Project or National Maritime Museum) and even relaxing massages for the adults can be arranged at an additional cost. Our instructors can also offer evening activities and games, which the whole family or individuals can participate in: which could provide time for Mum & Dad to enjoy a quiet visit to the local hostelry or restaurant!
The Garden and Spa Pool are available for quiet relaxation at the end of the day!
The Holiday can be as active or as restful as you decide to make it; full support is offered throughout the week from our qualified instructor team.
You could also choose to use the Manor House as a 'Ski Chalet' type accommodation when you organise your own daily visits and return to the Manor House for full board accommodation.
Why not arrange to stay with a group of families and take over the whole house for an exclusive private holiday, completely tailored to your special requirements.
Our Prices are competitive and inclusive
Our price is inclusive of activities listed on your personal program and full board accommodation. Five Activities are included in a week long program and 2-3 on a weekend package; check your booking information for details.
A booking deposit of £100 per person is payable to reserve a holiday with the balance payable one month before the trip. Our family holidays run from Sunday afternoon to Friday morning or weekends from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime (for groups of 8 or more).

Whether you want to get away from it all for a rest or if you want an all out activity weekend - we can provide the ideal venue with all the extras to make it special.
Activity Weekends may be organised to include Climbing, Cycling, Surfing, or in fact any of the activities mentioned on our website!
You may decide you want an all out Surf Dude Weekend and we can provide equipment and lessons for beginners and those that want to improve their technique. Our Activity and Surf weekends will suit all types of groups, mixed or single sex.
Retreat weekends are also popular with fantastic food, gentle exercise (walks or cycling) and a choice of relaxing Aromatherapy Massage etc. These weekends can be as structured or fluid as you wish and often suit a group of ladies wishing to get away from work, family and home for a purely pampered weekend. For all these weekends there is a choice of catering styles from Basic Bed & Breakfast to the Full On Menu (Full cooked breakfast, Homemade or Picnic Style Lunch, Cornish Cream Tea, Four Course Formal Dinner) or any combination in between to suit your budget.
Weekends may run from Thursday Evening to Monday afternoon or anything in between, depending upon availability. Why not stay for a week; ring to enquire regarding our special extended break tariff! Fully Catered Family Activity Holidays are also offered.
Transport may be arranged from Bodmin Parkway Train Station or Newquay Airport, for your entire stay, with drivers and drop off into Newquay or Padstow at night, if required. Minimum group sizes apply.
