During the Outdoor Instructor Course, our team of professionals will teach, coach and drive you to be the best in the business, we operate at standards others can only dream of, if you are looking to excel and make the right first step you have definitely come to the right place.
Our outdoor instructor courses are tailored with you in mind, we are realistic about what you will achieve during your time with us, what we will provide is the best possible start and foundation from which you will be able to build. Begin your Journey with us - 'Your Success is our success'
During your time on the course you will develop skills in specific activities like Climbing, Kayaking, sea kayaking, mountain walking, cycling, surfing, beach lifeguard skills, First aid. You will also work on the theoretical and practical aspects of risk assessments, hazard management, group management and leadership.
Whilst on the Outdoor Instructor Training Course you will have opportunity to train for and gain NATIONAL GOVERNING BODY QUALIFICATIONS:
You will be allocated a mentor for the duration of your training and they will provide guidance and support in all aspects of the course. They will guide you through the pre-requisites for membership of appropriate governing bodies and their respective qualifications.
You will have plenty of opportunity to consolidate the training and spend time doing the activities and what better place could you want; Cornwall offers some of the best beaches, coastlines and sea cliffs the world has to offer, let alone the UK.
The Manor House operates to exceptionally high standards in everything it does, you only have to look at our client base to recognise our product is of the highest level and therefore our instructors are more than equal to that standard. We train outdoor instructors in a manner that will allow you to become a part of an elite group of specialists who understand the needs of their clients and deliver an experience second to none.
Places on each Outdoor Instructor Training Course are limited and we aim to employ some successful candidates after each course for the following season.
The demand for instuctors with these qualifications continues to grow each year; therefore you are unlikely to struggle to find employment after the training course. We also help with Career Planning during the course and support each student through the application process into the industry.
