Our Instructor Training Course 2018 has started!
Our 2018 Outdoor Instructor Training Course started on 5th November with a full compliment of trainees.
During the first week the trainee instructors participated in each of the activities and completed a number of initial fitness tests. They will regularly be tested on fitness and as part of the training enjoy (!) Circuit Training with the Course Director once a week! They will also be running and swimming each week too.
The small subdivided groups have now started working towards a number of qualifications and certificates with our professional team of senior instructors!
We wish them well for the next 16 weeks, which will change not only their abilites, but also their perceptions and confidence dramatically! The Course has been described as 'not just an Outdoor Course, but one of life's great experiences!'
24-Hour Life Raft Challenge
One of our Instructors is taking part in this event to raise money for Turn to Starboard!
Pip is currently on our Outdoor Instructor Training Course and will be joining our Team in April. Pip, who has worked for Bushcraft previously, has volunteered to take on this challenge in aid of our Charity of the Year!
Thank you Pip; we hope the weather is warm and the sea is calm for you on 18th May
